Mason Wartman is the founder of Rosa's Fresh Pizza.
Prior to opening his business in Philadelphia, Mason Wartman was working on Wall Street doing the exact job he wanted to do. After seeing people above him struggling to be successful due to changes in the industry, Wartman decided to leave his job at the age of 25 and do something else he had always wanted to do: open up his own business.
Since living in New York, he had seen the success of the dollar pizza spots throughout New York and Manhattan, specifically. He thought it was a concept he could work back home in Philly. Rosa's Fresh Pizza opened its doors in December 2013. Rosa's pay-it-forward business model happened organically, and the shop feeds nearly 100 homeless people everyday.
