Earl Knight began his tech career when he was just eight years old. He designed a digital watch – complete with touch screen and video capabilities – after watching Dick Tracy. He sent the designs to Panasonic, who then wrote him back saying after college, he’s got a job there. Fast forwarding a few years, he then went on to become an NCAA Division 1 Scholarship Athlete. He played basketball for the Bloomsburg University Huskies, making his way up to team captain. Additionally, he founded a successful tea company, was an associate member of AMA (American Marketing Association) and held the role of treasurer for NABA (National Association Of Black Accountants). He graduated from Bloomsburg with a BS in marketing. After Bloomsburg, Earl played basketball professionally in Gothenburg, Sweden for Team Gothia: this is where he began development on his first mobile application for GoBabl; way back in 2012. By 25, Earl Founded GoBabl, LLC. In 2014 he released his first mobile application, which maxed over 1,200 downloads on the Apple App Store. The first mobile app was created purely off of bootstrapping the entire project. He’s worked in technology marketing for 7 years: Two years as a sales development manager at Ascentive and two years at MRP as a top-level Account Executive.
