Daniel Tobon is a veteran of the US army and a former corporate attorney turned entrepreneur. Tobon spent time working with his father – the operations manager for one of the largest coin operated laundry chains in the Midwest – and took the inspiration gained there to launch Starchup. During his college summers, Tobon helped collect tokens and quarters from coin-operated machines and realized there was a lot of money in laundry.
Tobon is a member of Bunker Labs PHL, an accelerator space built by and made for veteran entrepreneurs. Tobon credits his military experience with giving him both perspective and resilience.
